We are Hiring Procurement Engineer! 📌
Location: Malumachapatti, Coimbatore
Job Overview:
As a Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, components, and equipment necessary for manufacturing operations and project execution. The role involves evaluating suppliers, ensuring material quality, managing cost-effective procurement strategies, and ensuring timely deliveries to support production schedules.
Responsibilities:
🔺 Responsible for procurement and purchasing activities on assigned projects/vendors.
🔺 Prepares, reviews and issues purchase orders within project team Budget or below the budget.
🔺 Based on the project budget saving KPI will be monitor.
🔺 Proactively communicate with Sales staff, Project Management and other departments.
🔺 Maintains manual or computerized procurement records.
🔺 Liaises with Quality Control to report defective or unacceptable goods or services.
🔺 Ensures that all contract procedures are followed and executed in a professional manner.
🔺 Reviews supplier product designs, processes, and activities for compliance with customer manufacturing clearance, quality processes, and standards.
🔺 Source and investigate potential suppliers and recommends suitable ones for projects, Perform total cost analysis for project basis.
🔺 Work with our key suppliers to help improve their performance, competitiveness and capabilities.
🔺 Drive a step change in supplier capability through the utilisation of continuous improvement techniques, structured interventions, risk mitigation and other action plans.
🔺 Identify opportunities for innovation sharing, co-design/development utilising the relevant capabilities of both parties for mutual benefit.
🔺 Drive step a step change in supplier performance through the utilisation of continuous improvement techniques, structured interventions, risk mitigation and other action plans.
🔺 Responsible for the coordination of project materials flows, storage and distribution in accordance with company policies and procedures.
🔺 Need to develop new suppliers for our existing products like panels, instruments fittings, cables, Busbars, Trays, B and C class items.
Requirements:
✅ Minimum 3 – 6 years of experience in Electrical components Knowledge in Panel / Components.
✅ Strong computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✅ People in and around coimbatore are preferred.
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Communication Skill
✅ Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
