Business Development Head – VP Level

  • Age: 35-50 Years old.
  • Experience in: marketing & sales with target oriented approach, for a minimum of 5 Years.

He may come from a reputed Steel Foundry, where he has been working in a AGM position or Higher. Urban providers shall also consider candidates that may come from Valve or Pump industry that is also directly connected with the Steel Industry. Important to pre-select candidates that have a exposure in the Steel Industry and not only Iron.

  • Skills & Knowledge: communication & negotiation skills must be strong, Microsoft Office knowledge user level, leadership is required to handle site activities (like: interaction with our main customers & potential ones, disposition to travel all over India with a minimum of 10-15 natural days per month, etc).

Note: good English (Writing & Speaking) is required because he will be interacting with Urban Providers customers in Europe and USA.

  • For Training: can be sent to Spain for a period of time (not exceeding 2 months in a row).
  • Responsibilities: will be the responsible for all the Marketing & Sales Management activities like:
  1. Ensure the Order Booking as per the Business Plan.
  2. Ensure the Price Level defined by the BOD of the Company i.e. the profitability of the Business Plan.
  3. Introduce New Customers to achieve the Turn Over as per the Business Plan.
  4. Define the Payment Terms & Collections as per The Business Plan.
  5. Monitor and Update of the Monthly Sales Report.
  6. Reporting: directly to the CEO of the company.

Note: monthly report review meeting.

  • Package: to be discussed during personal interview but he will have a Fix & Variable Component as part of the Key Member of the Executive Committee.
